My work as a psychotherapist has been deeply influenced by Jungian Analysis, Modern Psychoanalysis, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Humanistic Psychology and Contemplative approaches. Another long-standing influence for me has been the practice and study of Vajrayana Buddhism. I have been involved with spiritual disciplines for most of my adult life, including the practice of mindfulness/awareness and developing compassion.

My work as a psychotherapist incorporates and integrates these various influences. I am particularly interested in uncovering the unconscious patterns that run our lives. The work of psychotherapy is to make those patterns conscious so that we can make more wakeful choices. My methods can include talking and listening, dream analysis, journaling, meditation instruction, and resourcing.

I offer psychotherapy services focusing on the challenges of aging. As an Elder myself I have discovered there is no guidebook that helps one navigate, accept and make peace with the vicissitudes of aging. I support those embracing this phase of life with compassion.
